My Northern Irish mother in law makes something called “rock buns” that seem to have similar ingredients-- is it the same sort of thing perhaps? They’re my favorite!!
I just did a little search because I haven’t heard of them before, but you’re right they look so similar! I think the difference is the way you cook them. They look so good!
