Hi friends,
I’m writing to you from the desk in our music room/office/library/workout space, it’s a chilly morning but the sun is shining. I can hear the fountain in the pond outside our window and I look out to a huge tree that covers most of the view with its evergreen leaves. February has been sweet so far. We celebrated Valentines day, have been on many beach walks, I’ve done some bowspring classes that have felt so supportive, settled into my new work routine which is set to change again in March (I’ll be nannying the sweetest kids ever), met with some beautiful clients in my 1-1 work and felt the joy of sharing my vision for Golden Nurture with you all. I’m so thankful for the warm response that I received after sharing that post, it means so much to have you here and to share my passions with you. I seriously love this space and I’m having a lot of fun dreaming up new ways to share.
A sweet friend that I met on here (hi Ru!!) asked me if I had always loved writing and my answer was no, not really. I’m not even sure if I would say that I love writing even now, as I do this each week and have done for a good couple of months now! Writing just feels right. It feels so good to share and to create connection. It feels good to be seen and heard, to be responded to with a ‘me too’. I guess I love what writing brings - a sense of safety within my own self as I witness my voice and the feeling of connection from sharing with you. I’m proud and grateful for keeping this promise to write, to show up and to be seen in a new way. It’s been delightful.
Here are some things and moments that have brought me delight this month so far:
